The Unico System operates like any other central air system, but with five important differences.

1. Unico uses a high velocity stream of air (2000 f.p.m. instead of 500-600 f.p.m. at the outlet).

2.Unico operates at much higher external static pressure (1 to 2 inches w.c. vs. .10 to .15 inches w.c. for conventional duct systems).

3.Unico out lets are only two inches I.D.

4.Unico drops the air passing over the evaporator coil 28 to 30 degrees vs. 15 to 17 degrees. This allows removal of 30% more moisture.

5. Finally, Unico aspirate rather than diffuse the conditioned air.
